Swimming with sea lions is not allowed from June 1 to August 31 due to restrictions by the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas, as it is mating season and they can be aggressive.

Embarkation and Departure
We are located at the Muelle Fiscal on the Malecón of La Paz. The captain and crew will warmly welcome you aboard, followed by a brief safety introduction and itinerary details.
Islet Gull
Our first stop is at Gaviota Islet. Here, you will enjoy an informative talk about the environment and the various bird species that inhabit the area.
Snorkel at El Mérito
We head to the point known as 'El Mérito' for our first snorkeling activity. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and explore the coral areas, teeming with marine life. You will also be able to admire the beautiful surrounding mangroves (duration of 15 to 30 minutes).
Sea Lion Watching in San Rafaelito
Next, we visit San Rafaelito, a resting area for sea lions. Observe these fascinating animals in their natural habitat and learn more about them with the information provided by our guide.
Sailing to Balandra Bay
We are heading towards the famous Balandra Bay. During the tour, our guide will provide you with interesting facts and information about the bay and its unique ecosystem.

We arrive at the iconic rock formation known as 'El Hongo de Balandra.' You will have 20 minutes to disembark and take photographs at this emblematic spot.
Beach Time at Balandra Bay
To conclude, we will enjoy some relaxation time at one of the three beautiful beaches in Balandra Bay. Here, our team will set up umbrellas and serve a delicious meal so you can enjoy the sun and the tranquility of the surroundings (duration of 1 to 1.5 hours).
Return to La Paz
We begin our return to the Muelle Fiscal on the Malecón of La Paz, reflecting on the wonderful experiences of the day and enjoying the last views of the Sea of Cortez.
Disembarkation and Farewell
We arrive back at the Muelle Fiscal, where we say our goodbyes with the hope of having provided you with an unforgettable experience. Don't forget to pick up your photos and souvenirs from the tour at our office.

During the tour, we may have the incredible opportunity to spot marine wildlife such as dolphins, mobulas, turtles, and whales. While these sightings are not guaranteed, as they depend on the season and luck, we are always attentive to offer you the best possible experience.     The tour begins by departing from the Muelle Fiscal located on the Malecón of La Paz, Baja California Sur. Our expert captain will determine the exact itinerary for the day, ensuring the best possible experience according to sea and weather onditions.

    This can be adjusted, but the normal schedule is from 11:00 AM to 5:15 PM.
  • Do the tours depart every day?
    Yes, we depart every day as long as port conditions allow us to navigate safely.
  • Are pets allowed on the tour?
    Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the tour to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
  • Do you offer tours in cities other than La Paz, Baja California Sur?
    Currently, we only offer tours in La Paz, Baja California Sur.
  • Can I bring alcoholic beverages?
    Yes, you can bring your alcoholic beverages along with a cooler to keep them fresh during the tour.
  • Are tips included in the cost of the tour?
    Tips are not included in the tour cost. If you wish to reward our team for their excellent service, it is always welcome.
  • Can the boat be reserved for a private tour?
    Yes, we also offer the option to quote and reserve the boat for private tours. Contact us for more details and customization.

    Important Information About Access to Protected Natural Areas

    To visit Espíritu Santo Island and Balandra Beach, environmental authorities require the purchase of an access wristband that must be bought directly upon boarding. This cost is not included in the tour price due to government regulations that are beyond our control.

    Access fees (direct payment upon boarding)

    Espíritu Santo Island: $110 MXN per person
    Balandra Beach: $65 MXN per person

    These wristbands are mandatory and their sale is regulated by CONANP (National Commission of Protected Natural Areas). We cannot include them or sell them in advance.

    Why this change? Authorities are seeking better control and protection of these natural areas. Your cooperation helps preserve these paradises!
